The Cost - A Huge Question and one with No difinitive answer
Most web site designers and builders will quote you prices for a single page site, a three page site, a five page site, a ten page site…and it goes on. Once your site is complete a you are then presented with an invoice which in no way reflects their advertised price. The obvious question is “Why?” and you will receive a slew of answers which sound like they’ve come straight from page 27 of the “Excuses to All Questions” book.
At ConnaughtCT we accept you are all intelligent people and we don’t want to insult that intelligence. We are unable to say to you a one page site will cost, for example £195.00 – that question again “Why?” & the answer - because we don’t know what you want on that page. Exaggerating for example - your one page could have more content than another companies 100 page site. You can see where we’re going with this can’t you? Are we able to build a 100 page site for £195.00 – the simple answer is No. So you can see why we won’t give you a definitive price per page. No two sites are the same and build criteria changes as the site grows, an extra graphic here another chart there all will alter the price.
What we at ConnaughtCT will tell you is that you will be charged a very fair hourly rate, which will take into account our overheads, including man hours spent on the construction of your site.
We can also tell you that our:
Hosting charges are £125.00 per year
and
A single domain purchase, including privacy protection, will cost you £35.00 a year.
There are no hidden costs – Plain and Simple.
